How We Give Back
Our community has been very supportive of The Natty Dresser over the years, and we feel honored to be able to give back to our community, in ways that contribute to building up people who are less fortunate than others as well as in ways that promote the heath and unity of our amazing community as mens clothing Albany OR specialists. We especially feel called to help men be the man of excellence that God made them to be. Some of the non-profits and programs whose missions we are proud to be able to help support are:
-
- The Albany Downtown Association (ADA). The Natty Dresser has been a member since 2014. We have volunteered to place our building on the Downtown Economic Improvement District (EID), which helps to fund the various works of the ADA and helps sponsor the Downtown Flower Baskets as well as the annual Mixology Madness event. We also participate in various special projects such as the Downtown Clean-up Days. Suit up for a cause—every purchase helps us support local charities! Explore men’s clothing at The Natty Dresser at 124 Broadalbin St. SW, Albany, OR 97321, or call 541-248-3561.
- Albany Visitors Association (AVA). We are sponsors of the Albany Explorers App that connects Albany’s hotel visitors to the community. With an interactive guide to all the things Albany has to offer, visitors can easily find events as well as places to eat, play and stay. We also contribute to various welcome baskets that the AVA produces throughout the year.
- The Historic Albany Carousel. This project exists to build community and to enchant young and old alike with the finest carousel in the world. We are sponsors of the annual Kentucky Derby event as well as other things that come up throughout the year.
Be dapper and do good! A portion of every sale of men’s clothing at 124 Broadalbin St. SW, Albany, OR 97321, supports local initiatives. Call us at 541-248-3561.
- Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 584. VFW has many programs and services that work to support veterans, service members, and their families. We give to the annual commander’s picnic for their raffle that helps keep the VFW open and serving our veterans. In addition, we offer 10% off any in-store purchase to current and former servicemen and women. Just ask for at the register during checkout and show your service ID.
- Albany School Foundation. The mission of the Foundation is to generate and distribute resources that enrich and enhance education opportunities for all students, encourage teachers to implement innovative educational programs, and award scholarships to Albany Public School District students. We help to sponsor the annual iCelebrate Kids program.

The Natty Dresser contributes to a program called “First Suits,” which provides a free suit to a man who is interested in and has shown great personal growth. mens clothing Albany OR Many of these men are former inmates and drug users who have turned their lives around and are looking to find gainful employment and have become productive members of our community.
- The Natty Dresser Suit Stash. We are often gifted used suits that we then give to men who are in need of a suit for a wedding or funeral but are unable to afford to purchase one. This is done on a case-by-case basis and is dependent on the suits that we have on hand. If you would like to donate a suit to this program, we welcome donations of clean suits that are in good repair.
- Mercy House. Mercy House International, Inc. is a Christ-centered, nonprofit ministry dedicated to the renewal of women and their children recovering from domestic abuse. We help to sponsor their annual Gala.
- Albany Antiques in the Streets. This annual street fair and car show uses the proceeds of the event to help fund a different deserving nonprofit each year. We are happy to be able to help sponsor this event annually.
- The Lebanon Strawberry Festival. The Festival is a community-wide celebration held each year since 1909. It continues to draw not only the community but people from all over Oregon to celebrate the berry harvest and taste the World’s Largest Strawberry Shortcake! The Natty Dresser provides the mens clothing Albany OR for the fathers of the Royal Strawberry Court, which gives these men the chance to stand on stage with their daughters with confidence and pride.
- Wedding package give-away. Every January The Natty Dresser donates up to ten tuxedo rentals to a lucky couple for their wedding day. See the store for details in early January.

The Natty Dresser has a finite number of resources to put towards these worthy causes, but we are always looking for ways to be involved in the community.
