The renowned U.S. Tailoring House Adrian Jules (AJ) is located in Rochester, New York. There are 6 grades of tailoring with 6 being the highest. AJ is one of only two grade 6 tailors in the United States of America. AJ offers a huge selection of English and Italian fabrics in half- or full-canvas construction for comfort and long wear. Turn-around time is typically 8–10 weeks. We offer in-house final fittings. 

  1. Platinum Fashions 

While these suits are made in China, they are made of the same fantastic materials as our top-tier Adrian Jules suits. The huge fabric selection is made with long-wearing half-canvas construction and a competitive 8–10 week turn-around with in-house final fittings.

  1. Hart Shaffner & Marx 

Made in India. A smaller selection of well-curated fabrics makes the process of choosing your suit color easier. Offered in half-canvas construction with a short 6–7 week turn-around and in-house final fitting. For customers who already own several HSM suits, this is the perfect way to get the look and feel you love.

  1. Data-Fit Private Label 

Blazers and suits. Made in Thailand. While there are fewer fabric choices, this option is a faster and less expensive alternative to the traditional made-to-measure. The turn-around is a speedy 3–4 weeks to the finished product. In-stock try-ons makes ordering a breeze. Half-canvas construction is available at an extra charge. NO APPOINTMENT NEEDED FOR THE DATA-FIT OPTION.

It’s Easy To Own Your Very Own,

Here’s how:

To get started, call us and book a consultation appointment with Oscar. He is a Certified Custom Clothier recognized by the Custom Tailors and Designers Association, the oldest trade association in the United States. 

This appointment will take about two hours. There is a consultation fee of $100 that will be applied to the purchase of your suit. 

Note: the fee is not refundable if you skip your appointment or do not end up buying a suit. NO APPOINTMENT IS NEEDED FOR THE DATA-FIT OPTION.

  • At the consultation, you’ll choose your fabrics, linings, and buttons. Oscar will take your measurements and photos so that he can accurately communicate your individual needs to the tailoring house.  At this appointment, please wear clothing that makes it easy to measure you — a close-fitting t-shirt or polo and pair of jeans or chinos is perfect.  mens clothing Albany OR Note: If you have a suit or sport coat that fits you relatively well, please bring it with you; we can use it as a starting point to define the fit that you’re looking for in a suit.
  • Once we receive your deposit, we can place the order with the tailoring house where they will make a pattern for your suit and start the tailoring process. The Natty Dresser will contact you as soon as your suit arrives at our shop so you can arrange a time to come in for your final fitting. At that point, we’ll mark for hems and discuss other alterations that you may desire.
  • All alterations are done in-house by our amazing team of seamstresses and tailors, so your suit never leaves the building. Depending on the alterations requested, you will be able to pick up your suit in ten days or less. Final payment is due at that time.
