FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: Do I need an appointment?
A: Maybe. We do require appointments for the following things…
1. Custom Suit Consultations –A custom suit consultation will take about two hours. You will meet with Oscar to choose your fabrics, linings and buttons, as well as to decide all the stylistic details like the lapels, vents, length of the coat, the over-all fit of the suit, and the style of the pants and vest. You will then get measured, and photographed as reference materials for the tailoring House.
We charge a $100 Consult fee. That fee is applied to the cost of the suit when you purchase, it is not refundable if you do not purchase, or if you miss your appointment.
2. Custom Suit Final Fitting – Once the suit arrives back at the shop, we will set up a time for you to come in and try it on for any final adjustments like the pant hem. We set this appointment so that Oscar and one of the in-house tailors can take a look at it and make sure it looks amazing on you.
3. Wedding Gown and Formal Dress Alteration Consultations –
Please be aware that Wedding season is a super busy time in the alterations department. Make your appointment as soon as you have your dress delivery date, so that you can get into the system as early as possible. Appointments are generally set in stone. If you arrive more than 10 minutes early you may need to wait. If you arrive late, you may need to set another appointment. So, please try to be prompt.
